HGV 1 Container Driver

Hunter Professional is looking for experienced HGV 1 Container drivers for their client based in Southampton

For this HGV 1 role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting containers from various ports. You must have a DP world Certificate which allows you to get in and out of the Southampton port. If you have a RHIDES card or an LGW card that is desirable too as you may be asked to collect containers from other ports

Must have:

• A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C+E
• A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Must have at least a year of HGV 1 driving experience
• Must have previous container experience
• Good knowledge of the UK roads
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Clear and concise communication skills
• A DP World Certificate to get in and out of the Southampton Port, if you have an LGW card for London Gateway and a RIDES Card for Felixstowe then this is an added bonus
